In a time of organizations and teams we are seeing companies reward executives for doing more with less. As a consequences, we are seeing managers and bosses focus on doing rather than leading. They are caring about the moment rather than the culture. Leading is about building relationships within and outside the organization.

I love leadership. I feel called to it. I realize the need for good leadership, but the fact is that leadership is hard.

The following is a review of the movie before it comes out. My objective of this post is not to spoil anything for you, however give you a reason (or not) to see this movie.

We all experience stress. During my time in leadership, I have spent much energy trying overcome stress by avoiding it. I have just recently learned that this is not the right. Instead of avoiding it, admit that stress is inevitable and learn to handle it correctly. Stress can and should be our friend.
