What did you Expect? Marriage Conference

One item in my Marriage Purpose Statement (yes, I have a purpose statement for my marriage; why don't you?) is to attend a Marriage Conference with my wife once a year. A few weeks ago, we went to a local church that hosted an event called: What did you Expect? Redeeming the Realities of Marriage. 

Both my wife and I really enjoyed the timeless lessons taught by Paul David Tripp. I am also a copious note taker. I created a PDF of my notes for you that summarize what we learned and are easy to follow.

It won't take long for you to be disappointed in marriage. It won't take long for your dreams to be dashed. The reality is that you can't escape the brokenness of this world. You won't be able to avoid the sin of your spouse.
