Most leaders spend very little time on dreaming. In fact, I have often heard of leaders who purposely avoid dreaming because it will never become a reality. Why not dream? I often schedule out time in my week to dream. I find value in spending time looking to the future. My dreams can quickly become vision, then turn into action steps toward fulfilling a dream I once had. No one fulfills their dream by accident. 

WITH SO MANY THINGS ON OUR TO-DO LISTS AND SO MANY NEW THINGS COMING AT US EVERY DAY, HOW DO WE STAY ABOVE WATER AS LEADERS?   

One common answer is delegation.

Values are things that you believe are important in the way you live, lead, work, rest, play, etc. Your values also serve as the most important component in your sense of purpose, passion, and play. In other words, when the things you do and how you lead match with what you value, you are generally a happy fulfilled person. When the things you value do not match with the things you do, you generally are stressed, unhappy, and unfulfilled. Here are 3 ways to identify your personal values. 

Have you ever been inspired? My guess is yes. Leaders desire to be inspiring, but what does it take. You are not going to follow someone if they don't inspire you in a BIG way.

Criticism stings. It can ruin your day and cripple you with discouragement. Yes, why not? Why not be yourself? Why not go out on a limb and try something new or different? Why not do something that everyone said is impossible? Why not make a fool of yourself and have a good laugh at yourself?

Time is valuable and precious. More valuable then money. Money you can grow. My brother's occupation is in the stock market and he recently said, "I need more money to make money." You can grow money. Time you can not. Time has no interest. There are no do-overs with time. You only get one August 6th, 2014. That day will come and then be gone forever.
